Research On The Admiration Of Local Student Towards International Student In UTP

Do you admire any international students in UTP? I am pretty sure that most of local student admire the international student in UTP. On 11^th March 2013, in University Teknologi Petronas, a research was done by myself in Lecture Room 12 during our English Tutorial Class. Our tutor, Mr Rosli Din was there to witness our research. Overall, there were 21 students in the class excluding me and they were all local student.All of us are 18 years old and there are Malaysian, Chinese and Indians in the class. There are also 4 international students in our class however they all were absent during the researched was done. Majority of the student are female students and the remaining are male students. There are different courses in our class which is Civil Engineering, Petroleum Geoscience and  Mechanical Engineering.

     Based on the research that had been carried out, I have discovered that the percentage of local students who admire the international students are 50% while the rest does not have any interest in international students. Some of them mentioned the name of the international student while some of them are not even know the name of the international students. From the research, I can conclude that actually male students are also interested in female international students. This is because I got some respondents saying that they likes a Syrian girl. Nevertheless, there are also some respondents claiming that local students are more attractive than international students.

     In a conclusion, international students and local students are the same and everyone have their own perspectives and ways of evaluating someone. That’s all about my research. Thank you to Mr Rosli and all my friends.
