CAUSES AND EFFECT ESSAY

The Causes Of Fail Marriage And Its Effect Towards Husband And Wife

What do you expect in a relationship when there is no trust towards each other? This question can be relate to a short story entitled Death By Scrabble written by Charlie Fish. Death By Scrabble is a story about a married couple. The husband was forced by his wife to play scrabble with him even though he  have something else to do. The following paragraphs are the causes and effect of the husband to play scrabble with his wife eventhough he has another plans.

There are some causes why the husband still play the scrabble with his wife. First, it is because by playing scrabble, he got chances to make his wife suffer by playing with the words. This is because all the words that they play will turns into reality.Secondly, he was forced by his wife. He was forced and he finally agreed to play scrabble with his wife. Next, the reason why the husband play the scrabble with the wife is because he wished that he can kill his wife as soon as possible and he can do anything that he wanted to do if his wife died. He can do anything that he has planned before without his wife.

Besides that, there are also some effect of the husband playing the scrabble with his wife. Firstly, the relationship failed. This is because, at the end of this story, the husband died because he was chocked by the tiles and the marriage are failed. Othe than that, there was an earthquake that occurred in their house. The earthquake happened because the husband played the word QUAKE and their house starts to shake. Lastly, the husband died and the wife become widowed. The husband died because his wife played with the word DEATH and the husband choked the letter tile.

In a nutshell, the husband should not forced himself to play the scrabble with his wife if his intention is to hurt his wife not because he sincerely wanted to play the scrabble. I hope that married couple out there can settle their problems by having a slowtalk and not by playing with the jinxed word and hurt their partners in that way.
