                            Research On Frequency UTP Student Couple

              Did UTP students have boyfriend or girlfriend before ? How many times did they couple till now ? On 11 March 2013 in Universiti Teknologi Petronas , I have done a research for English Tutorial Group 8 in lecture room 12 with my friends. I intended to know how many students have boyfriend or gilfriend and how many are single till now. There were 20 students altogether in the group. My group members consist of variety of races which are Malay , Chinese , Indians , and few international students. All the local students came from different states such as Sarawak , Kedah , Perak and etc. The religions of the participants are Islam , Budhism and Hindu. All of them are 18 years old which comprised of seven males and 13 females. All of them are taking different course where majority of them are in civil engineering and only few students taking electrical and electronic engineering and petroleum engineering. Most of them are single and only few of them has boyfriend or girlfriend.

              From the research I have done , 55% of the students admitted that they had boyfriend or girlfriend before which has an amount of 11 students. Only 45% are single till now. Thus , a small conclusion that can be made is majority of students in our group have couple before and some of it has been couple till now. From my previous question , only 15% which is equals to three students has been coupled once where some of them admitted that they are still couple and never clash. Another 40% students admitted that they coupled more than twice. Majority of them are still single where most of the answers came from girls side where their reasons are to have a husband not a boyfriend. This shows that those of the single girls keeps their hearts and love to their future husband.

               Based on the research above , the justification I can obtain is majority of our students are in love relationships. This is probably due to feeling of falling in love and being loved by someone experiencing by majority of the teenagers even in UTP. There are also students respond that they are never couple where most of them are girls. Overall , all of the students answered the questions and give full cooperation during the survey.
