Report On Poster Presentation

 On February 2013, my English 1 tutorial group were been given a task by our beloved English 1 tutor, Mr. Rosli Din to do poster presentation based on the short stories or novel given by him. My partner, Nur Ilyana Binti Zainal Arifin and I was given a task to present the poster based on the short story The Lady Or The Tiger written by Frank Stockton.We were given to prepare approximately for one month. During that time, we had done some research on that short story so we can come with creative ideas for the poster presentation. We had divided the jobs equally between us and made some discussions at our hostel.We also had to bring out some money for the printing and other materials. Finally, we finished up the poster.

                On 1st April 2013, our tutor asked us to present our poster. We were the fourth partner to present. For the most interesting scene of the story, we both drew a picture of a young man who was standing in the middle of the arena who was dilemma in choosing the right door and was watched by the King and his lover, the princess. We also explained to our tutorial group members about the summary of the story, plot, characters, themes, moral values and current issues related to one of the themes in the story. Our presentation was consumed almost 15 minutes.Our tutor did not so satisfied with our presentation. So, he advised us to relate and react more on the poster. Overall, I am glad that our tutor had given this task to us as I can improve more on my communication skills and also built my confidence in doing presentation in front of the crowd. This presentation also helping me to revise the short stories and novels that I learnt during English 1 lecture for the upcoming final exam.
