The main characters in the short story Lady Or The Tiger is the young man while the main character in Death By Scrabble is the husband. There are some differences and similarities between this two main characters. The following paragraphs are the differences and similarities of the main characters in Lady Or The Tiger and Death By Scrabble.
There
are 3 similarities of the main characters in both short stories that will be highlight
in this paragraphs. The first similarities are both characters have the same
gender which is male. The characters in Lady Or The Tiger is the young man
while the character in Death By Scrabble is the husband. Another similarities
are they are both the main characters in the short story. Both of them plays
important role in the short story. Lastly, the similarities between the main
characters in both short story are both of them involved in a relationship. In Lady
Or The Tiger, the young man was in love with the princess and their love are
not accepted by the king while the husband in Death By Scrabble was married
with his wife and their relationship are broken.
Meanwhile,
there are 3 differences of the main character in both short story. The
differences are the husband in Death By Scrabble hates his wife while the young
man in Lady Or The Tiger loves his girlfriend, which is the princess. This can
be shown that in short story Death By Scrabble, the husband tried to kill his
wife by playing with harsh words and hoping that his wife will die whereas in Lady
Or The Tiger, the young man loves his girlfriend and he had to choose between
life or death as their love are not agreed by the king.Next, the character in
Death By Scrabble was ended with death as he was chocked with scrabble tile
while the character in Lady Or The Tiger might be ended with death if he choose
door with tiger behind it or alive if he choose door with young maiden behind
it.Another differences are the husband’s characters are full of hatred because
he hates his wife so much while the young man’s characters is full of love as
he loves the princess.
In
my opinion, both main characters have the differences but they have
similarities too. Both short story Lady Or The Tiger and Death By Scrabble are
nice and both characters have live a good life but a bad relationship.
