Report On Number Of Smokers

     On 11^th Mac 2013 in Universiti Teknologi Petronas,I have done a simple research in group 8 of English Tutorial from 5.20 pm to 6.00 pm.This research was done at Lecture Room 12,which is located at Block N of UTP campus.I intended to know how many smokers among this group.There were 20 students in my group.All of them have an everage of 18 years old which consist of 7 males students and 13 female students.The group members consist of variety races such as Malay,Indian,Chinese and International students.

     From the research that I had done,I found that 30% of the respondens,which are 6 students,are smoking.In this small numbers of smokers,some of them revealed their reasons for smoking,and some of them listed out the types of cigarette that they smoke.So,a small conclusion can be made that most of these 6 students had been smoking for a long time.The percentage for non-smokers is 70%,which are 14 students are not smoking.From this,I can conclude that most of the respondens does not like smoking

     Based on the research that I had done,majority of the students or respondens are non-smokers.The hypothesis or objective for this research is to prove that smoking cigarette is harmful.So,the hypothesis is accepted.This mean that smoking is bad for our health
