                         Celebrating New Year's Eve In Police Station

Tronoh, 1 Jan. - About 10 students from Universiti Teknologi Petronas ( UTP ) were arrested by the police officers in one of the night clubs in Ipoh yesterday. It is believed that the students were planning to partying with their friends that was held at that night in occasion of New Year countdown celebration. There were seven local students and three international students involved. The invasion was held around 10 p.m. till 11.30 p.m. after receiving several reports from the society. According to the police officer, Inspector Zakaria Bin Yahya, the night club had to be invaded after finding out that the owner did not have an official license to run the premise.

                   " Before this, we had invaded this night club and gave a strict order to close down the club but the owner did not take our orders seriously and did not afraid to operate this club illegally. We will take strict actions towards the owner and all the night club visitors and workers." said Inspector Zakaria Bin Yahya. All the night club visitors were arrested including 10 UTP students to do the drug tests for further investigation.
