    RESEARCH ON THE NUMBER OF UTP CANDIDATES'S SECRET ADMIRER


      Do university candidates have secret admirer ? On 11th Mac 2013 in Universiti Teknologi Petronas , I have done a simple research in Group of English Tutorial from 5:20pm to 6:00pm at Lecture Room 12 which located at Blok N of UTP campus. I intended to know how many university's candidates have secret admirer . There were about 20 students in my group .  My group member consisted of variety of races which included Malay , Chinese , Indian and also few of international students . All of the local students come from different states in Malaysia such as Johor , Perak , Terengganu , Sarawak , Kelantan and etc. The religions of the participant are Islam , Buddhism and Hindu. All of them have an average age of 18 years old which comprised of 8 males students and 12 females students. All of them are taking different course . For instance , electrical and electronic engineering , petroleum engineering and civil engineering .

       For the research I have done , I have found that 40% out of the students , which is amount of 8 students admitted that they have secret admirer . From the research most of the students that say 'YES' are the girls . Thus, a small conclusion can be made as the students in this tutorial group who have secret admirer are mostly girls . Those who are answer 'NO' for having any secret admirer hold percentage of 25% out of 20 students which is also equal to 5 persons. Lastly , there are 35% of students that did not sure with their answer . According to them , they did not know whether they have secret admirer or not . This 'NOT SURE' group consists of 7 students out of 20 students .

       Based on the research I have done , I can obtain is majority of the students have secret admirer . This is probably due to their appearances and also their attitude . Most of them also feel uncomfortable when answering this kind of question as most of them didn’t feel well to make his or her stand for this question . There are also most of them have answered the question whether she or he did or didn’t have secret admirer . Although it holds a very small percentage of students , they are still willing to cooperate to help the research to be done.
