REPORT ON HONEY BUNNY PRESENTATION

                On February 2013, we were assigned by our beloved English 1 tutor, Mr. Rosli Din to form a group of four or five for the drama presentation. Our group members consists of five people. We called ourselves as Give Me 5 because we had five members in a group. We were asked by our tutor to do the drama on the novel of Heart Of Darkness which was written by Joseph Conrad. We were given approximately a month and a half to prepare ourselves for the drama. It was really tough for us as the novel was hard to understand with its classic language and it is pretty bored for youngsters like us. With the help from our tutor, we managed to understand the story a bit. We started to do the script. We used the character from the novel but we changed the story a bit. Then, we passed out the first draft to our tutor to be checked. After he returned back the script, we started to divided the characters among us. On one tutorial class, our tutor assigned us to do a preview of the drama by acting only one scene. Every group did the preview. However, our tutor was not quite satisfied with our preview as his reasons was he did not understand our acting so he gave us low marks. We discussed back the drama and decided to change the whole story but still can be relate a little bit with the novel. We changed the whole script. Before the day of the drama presentation, we had a practice so we can act better during that day. We tried to memorized the script, do some props and create the movements.

                  We acted the drama on 8th April. We were the first group to act. We acted with full of enthusiasm as the drama counted 10% for the coursework mark. Our tutor was satisfied with our acting. Even our tutorial group members were enjoyed watching our drama. We were also enjoyed other groups drama. In the end, I was happy with my team. They were giving full cooperation in making this drama alive. I wanted to thank to my tutor for giving us the opportunity to act our own drama. Through this task, we can searched for the talented actors and built self-confidence in facing in front the crowd. Besides, this task can help accomplished our university's objective which was to produce well rounded graduates who are creative and innovative.
