CRITICISM KILLED 10 STUDENTS

28 December 2010, Monday – 10 students were found dead in one of the world renown universities, Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Perak, Malaysia. These 10 students were believed to be from the same foundation course in civil engineering. These students bodies were found lying on the floor in one of the rooms in Village 2 in UTP, Perak. Students from the same floor in the village reported that they heard voices of 10 male students on that particular day shouting vulgar words at each other in a language that was recognized to be Tamil. These male students were found with with knives in each one of their hands and multiple cuts in their neck, stomach and heads.

Eyewitness, Ali bin Abu Talib, one of the residents in the room beside the crime scene stated that these 10 students were in good terms with each other and they had never fought before. He also added that for the past few days these 10 students had developed a habit known as name-calling. This had become a hobby among them and later it became worse as they started criticizing about parents and religion. On that certain day, Ali said he heard loud noises and voices of screaming people. When he came out he said he was able to see blood oozing from beneath the locked door so he immediately reported to the police. Police officer, Encik Rahman bin Al-Muhidin conducted an investigation and concluded that name-calling had developed into a serious matter until it brought death to 10 students in UTP and he intended to investigate further about this matter.
