Similarities And Differences Between Characters In ‘The Lady Or The Tiger’And ‘Death By  Scrabble’ Short Stories

   Have you ever read ‘ The Lady Or The Tiger’ And ‘Death By Scrabble’short stories? ‘The Lady Or The Tiger’ is a short story written by Frank Stockton while ‘Death By Scrabble’is a short story written by Charlie Fish. The following paragraphs are the similarities and differences between the main characters of ‘The Lady Or The Tiger’ and ‘Death By Scrabble’ short stories.

   The similarities between the main characters of ‘The Lady Or The Tiger’ and ‘Death By Scrabble’short stories are both of them are male. Next, the young man and the husband also involve in a relationship with someone. This can be seen that the young man has a relationship with the princess while the husband has a relationship with his wife . Besides that, both of them also face with death. This is shown when the young man has to choose either the two doors which have the lady or the tiger. If he chooses the door that has the tiger, he will face with death while the husband has choked the scrabble word when his wife plays the word ‘DEATH’and his wife just looking at him without saving him.

   The differences between the main characters of ‘The Lady Or The Tiger’ and ‘Death By Scrabble’ short stories are the young man is a loving person but the husband is a cruel person. This can be seen when he still looking at the princess when enters the arena eventhough he is facing with death. Other than that, the young man loves his gilrfriend but the husband hates his wife. This is shown when the young man really loves the princess very much and has to face with death in the arena because of it while the husband really hates his wife very much and eagers to kill her. Next, the young man might be died or live at the end of the short story but the husband died at the end.  This can be seen when the young man has not make the choice yet to choose either the two doors which has the tiger or the lady while the husband has absolutely died at the end because of choking the scrabble word.

   In the nutshell, the young man and the husband are male, involve in relationship with someone and face with death. So, both of them do not have a good life.
