Drama Presentation Report
“To Be Honest Or Not To Be”
On 9th of April 2013,I and my group which is “Starlight” had presented a drama entitled “To Be Honest Or Not To Be” based on the short story “Frankenstein” written by Charlie Fish. This drama was presented by four of us the members of Starlight group, which are myself,Mohd Fatehah Abdul Latif,Chok Li Qi, and Wong Wei Chong. At the beginning, which is on February, our tutor Mr Rosli Din had given each group with a short story. The task is,each group must presented their drama based on the short story. The drama presentation carried 10% of our coursework mark,so we must do the best in order to get a full mark.First of all,we made a discussion on the plot of the short story. Then the script was written by all of us during our meetings and the first draft was submitted to our tutor. The whole story of “Frankenstein” was altered as the original story make us bored.
As time goes by,we manage to make a simple practice on the drama.Sometimes,I wondered all the hard work that we had done so long as it makes me to be more diligent. We practiced our drama frequently until we had really prepared with the presentation. For the props,we collect RM 5 from each of us to buy a stuffs to make the props. We bought polystyrene, glue, wraping paper and colours to complete the props. The venue that had been chosen by most of our tutorial members for the drama presentation is at Halliburton. After one month, the day finally arrived. We were feeling so nervous as our group will be the first gonna present on that day.
After done with the drama presentation,I felt very grateful and relieved because all our effort in the making of this drama are paid off.The drama presentation was done successfully.I have got many lessons from this drama presentation such as work as a team is much better, must give a full commitment with others every time, and always work hard.
