Title: Dramatic end for men in both short stories.
The fate was merciless towards them. They had unhappy end. The short story " Death by Scrabble" is written by Charlie Fish. The "Lady or the Tiger" is written by Frank Stockton. The story "Death by Scrabble" is narrating a death process of the husband after cheating his wife in a scrabble game. But "The Lady or the Tiger" is narrating about accused young man who is summoned by the King to decide his own fate in the arena . In both stories they had choices, but they got the same "unhappy end". The following paragraphs are about differences and similarities between the young man and husband in "Lady or the Tiger" and "Death by Scrabble".
There are some differences between these two characters. The first is that the young man loved his princess, but the husband hated his wife. The next one is that the story "The Lady or the Tiger" takes place in medieval time, while "Death by Scrabble" in our time. Both of them have different ages as the husband is older than the young man. And the last one is that the King decided the fate of the young man, the scrabble decided the fate of the husband.
Both of them have shared some similarities of their characters. The young man has cheated on the King to fall in love with the princess as it is out of circumstance to fall in love with the royal family members, while the husband has playing cheat on hi wife in the scrabble game. Both of their destinies are decided by women that appear in their lives.
As a conclusion I would like to say that in my opinion these two characters are dramatic,, since one them dies because of the chip, by the irony of fate, and another one had choice to die or to marry unlovely girl. We should learn from the mistakes keep firm as the proverb says, "the beauty of the rain is not waiting the storm to pass through, but learning how to dance inside the pouring rain".
