                       Having Forced to Play Scrabble With The Wife

       Have you  playing the scrabble before ? “ Death by Scrabble” is a short story about the husband  had to play the game with his wife. I believed that both of the husband and the wife had a crisis in their marriage. They had problems with their partners. So that they tried to harm each other during playing scrabble.

           There are a few of causes the husband playing scrabble with his wife .  First and foremost , he had forced to entertain his wife. This is can be proven when he said that he is rather doing something else that interesting such as climbs the Mount Kilimanjaro , stars in the latest Hollywood blockbuster and sails the Vendee Globe on a 60-foot clipper called the New Horizons. He also did not mix with society. So, that he did not have any chances to do another activities instead of playing scrabble. This can be seen when he stated that he did not speak to anyone else except his wife since Thursday morning and he only spoke to the milkman on that Thursday morning. Besides, the hot day was not suitable for the husband to do the outdoor activity.So, he decided to do indoor activity which was playing scrabble with his wife.

        There are a few effects when the husband playing scrabble with his wife. Firstly,the hatred towards his wife become greater.  On the other hands, the couple try to harm each other. This can be proven when each of them kept putting the bad words that might harm them when it was their turn. And the unforgettable one is the death of the husband which was caused by the jinxed word by his wife which was ‘DEATH’ . This caused him to choked the letter and died .

         In my conclusion is the husband and his wife should spend their time to talk about their private problems together. They should not keep themselves silence. As every problems have the solvents. On the other hands, the couple should understand each other well. They should take care of their partner’s feelings. If not , they might involved in a crisis even it just a very small matter.
